こんにちは！Atsushiです。
今日の天気は晴れ。
気温は23℃です。

天気が良いので少しだけ暑く感じます。

今日はコロケーションについて。
コロケーションという言葉を聞いたことがありますか？
日本語訳で調べると連語れんご、と出てきますが、
要は言葉の自然な組み合わせのことを言います。

英語だと、
fast food をquick foodとは言いませんね。
wash laundryではなく、do laundry 
strong rainではなく、heavy rain 
など言うようです。

日本語はというと、
例えば、
ご飯を食べる
飯を食う

と言いますが、これを
ご飯を食う
とか
飯を食べる
とはほとんど言いません。

知らない間に覚えたものだと、
かぜをひく
傘をさす

なども同じコロケーションですね。
かぜになる
かさをする
間違ってはいませんが、もしかすると、日本人は少し違和感があるかもしれません。

他にも、
約束をやぶる
影響を与える、及ばす
攻撃を受ける

などがあります。

私のpodcastの26で服を着る表現について話しましたが、
これもコロケーションの１つです。

今月（こんげつ）、うちに 新（あたら）しいメンバーが きました。「みつき」という とても 元気（げんき）いっぱいの 女（おんな）の赤（あか）ちゃんです。わたしの 娘（むすめ）です。みつきは 　わたしたちの はじめての子（こ）どもです。だから、はじめて 見（み）たとき、「うわぁ、これが本当（ほんとう）に 自分（じぶん）の子（こ）か。元気（げんき）な子（こ）に なってほしいなぁ」と 思（おも）いました。

それで、まず、おむつ交換（こうかん）を やってみました。それから、抱（だ）きながら 話（はなし）を しました。そして、みつきが 夜（よる）泣（な）いたとき、みつきの ところへ 行（い）きました。

今（いま）、みつきの世話（せわ）で とても忙（いそが）しいです。それでも、ときどき、みつきの 笑顔（えがお）を 見（み）ます。それも、うれしいです。

・「おむつ」は、パンツの形（かたち）。赤ちゃんが はく。紙（かみ）のおむつ、布（ぬの）のおむつがある。
・赤（あか）ちゃんは 自分（じぶん）で トイレに 行（い）かない。おむつが 赤（あか）ちゃんのトイレ。
・赤（あか）ちゃんは おむつに うんちを する。おしっこを する。
・ときどき、今（いま）のおむつを 新（あたら）しいおむつに 替（か）える。⇒おむつ交換（こうかん）

【世話（せわ）】
・赤（あか）ちゃんは 自分（じぶん）で 自分（じぶん）のことが できない。
・お母（かあ）さんや お父（とう）さんが おむつ交換（こうかん）したり、ごはんを あげたりする。⇒「世話（せわ）」という。赤（あか）ちゃんの 世話（せわ）
・犬（いぬ）や猫（ねこ）の世話（せわ）をする。おじいさん、おばあさんの世話（せわ）をする。病気（びょうき）の人（ひと）の世話（せわ）をする。

【幸（しあわ）せなこと】
・バックミラーさんは、みつきちゃんの世話（せわ）で 夜（よる）あまり寝（ね）ることが できない。
・昼（ひる）は 仕事（しごと）をしている。仕事（しごと）も 大変（たいへん）。
・みつきちゃんが 笑顔（えがお）に なる。⇒うれしいこと、しあわせなこと！
