I am curious what people plan to do when Skype shuts down in 2 months?

Have you chosen a different app to use for video chats?

I know that many people here do not use Skype, but I am sure that this will effect many people.

Answer

Hi Ian
I have the same concern. Because I have some students on Skype, and when it shuts down, we need to use another platform. Do you know what the reason might be?!

Answer

I didn't know about this.

Answer

I use talky.io. There's no sign-up, and you just have to agree on a room name. The room name will be like: talky.io/roomname. Also you can Share screen. It works well. The other place I practice speaking is at free4talk.com . But sometimes there are inconsiderate people there. Perhaps they themselves don't think they are inconsiderate.
