Today, it's sunny after a brief period of rain that caused a drop in temperature. However, the temperature has risen back up to a scorching 86 degrees Fahrenheit. Last night, while watching TV, I stumbled upon a fascinating fact. In most parts of the world, ticks are used to mark correct answers and circles to indicate mistakes. However, in Japan, teachers do the opposite. They circle the correct answers and tick the mistakes. If I were to have a Japanese teacher grade my test paper, it would definitely surprise my mom. She would probably be taken aback by the reversed markings. Furthermore, if you can imagine filling out a document in Japanese, and you come across the section where you need to indicate your gender, and you just ticked it…
