Practice every single day up until your test. You can find free practice listening tests online, e.g. through British Council. You will improve! It's better to do multiple short sessions per day if you can, rather than a single long session every day or every other day ... your brain will continue to learn in the resting time.

Unfortunately, certification exams (IELTS, Cambridge, TOEFL, etc.), can't be prepared overnight. I totally agree with Lory about listening. For the best results, here are my suggestions that are quite detailed. 1) Practise listening every single day. Listening sessions shouldn't exceed 20 minutes. 2) Listen to a variety of different subjects and with different English accents. The more variety of topics and accents, the better. As a source of listening you can use the following: online news, Ted talks, podcasts, audiobooks. 3) Know your weaknesses. Another great suggestion is to practise past exam papers (or mock tests), try to understand your weaknesses and work on them. 4) Do paraphrasing. The listening test recordings include so many synonyms and paraphrases of keywords. Students will not find in the IELTS test the same words the speaker will use in the listening test. Example Query and answer --> The inception of the park was in 1979. Audio --> The park was not built until 1979. The podcasts are useful for paraphrasing practice. What's more, you can stop it and resume it whenever you want. After listening to every sentence, you can stop the recording and think about paraphrasing the sentence and synonyms you can use. I hope that answers your question. I'd be glad to help and practice with you, Lotus. Feel free to look at my teaching profile and class offerings and send me a message if you think I can help you.

Hi, that is so sad. It happens in any language if you stop practicing. I recommend speaking with a native English speaker, then asking to have certain things you don't understand clarified. Listening to music in English also can help. I'd be happy to practice with you Lotus.
