I'm learning Spanish. There's a word "mama" comes up in many popular Spanish songs, does it mean "mother" or "beautiful lady" or "baby" this kinds of words? I'm really confused

Normally in pop songs, when it means 'baby', it's rather 'mami' than 'mama'.

Hi Tracy 😊 In my region we utilize the word “mama” as a way to call someone who is a female, no matter the age. For example “Ven mama. Pásame la tela.” But that doesn’t happen in every country of Latin America. About “mami” it’s a way to call grown up women mostly in reggaeton songs. And it means beautiful lady and all the range of tags related to that characteristic. If you have further questions don’t hesitate to reach me out ✨ All the best in your studies!

As far as I know, "mama" means mom/mother in Spanish.

Hola Tracy! Mamá es el quivalente a mother, en mi país "mama", se refiere al pecho o seno de la mujer y lo utilizan para alimentar a los bebés, ese es un significado. También puedes usar mama de una manera informal podría referirse a una grosería
