Today I’m going to make some sentences using the verb “to get”.
- John doesn’t get along with his wife’s sister.
- After robbing the store, the criminal got away.
- When the criminal was captured, he got off lightly. He will only do community work.
- I’m getting back home. I will arrive in a while.
- I forgot to get back to my friend. He is probably upset.
- I had stopped learning Indonesian, but I got back into this language one month ago.
- If you want to get ahead at work, you need to speak good English.
- Because I didn’t lend him my car, he got back at me by not lending me money.
- I get behind the decision of our president. I think he made a good decision.
- My kids always get into trouble when I’m gone.
- I can’t get back because I already got on the plane.

Hola Eduardo. En general muy bien hecho. "Get home" - llegar a casa, pero a la puerta, no tanto en camino. "I have already done soemthing" - acabo de... "I will" es del futuro simple, normalmente cuando no tienes ningún plan. Aquí tienes detalles - tonight, así que "I'm getting together with". "On the bed" - encima de la cama. "In bed" - dentro de su cama. No hace falta decir "the" porque normalmente estamos en nuestra propia cama, ¡no de otra persona! Muy bien. Sigue practicando. Saludos desde España.
