Hey, does the phrase 'That's quite a haul' mean 'that's a lot of money'?

Haul from hauling?? If that's the case it could mean something like "That was a considerable distance"
But we need more data to give a final answer because with just this short statement, we cannot safely assure the meaning, I'm sure there is more information connected to that one.

Quite a haul means “wow you have a lot you are carrying”. The context doesn’t matter. It can refer to many things but it just means you are carry a lot. It’s usually physical and literal but can apply in other contexts as well.
