IELTS Writing: problem and solution essay These days, a large number of undomesticated animals are on the brink of extinction and a great number on the threatened list. This essay will discuss the major problem associated with this trend and propose possible solution which should be implemented to deal with it. The major cause of disappearance of wild animals is the lack of restrictions regarding illegal hunting, mainly for making a profit on black market. In other words, hunters are not controlled by the government can avoid an appropriate punishment, which only generated growth of poaching. For example, according to statistical studies, just over 1000 elephants are killed illegal in Africa per year and this situation is getting worse. In my opinion, the best solution to this problem is the use of camera traps to record the offenses of poachers. Using cameras in areas where poachers activity is widespread allows to serve official evidences for punishing them. Moreover, poachers will be less likely to commit crimes, as they will be afraid of getting caught. For example, the use of cameras in the reservations of our country had reduced the number of deer killings. To conclude, poachers activities cause a problem of undomesticated animals’ extinction. However, we can significantly lessen the extinction of species by using camera traps to reduce the number of illegal huntings.
