Should I call them ''lunch partner'' or ''meal pal''?
Latest, there are many Chinese who are looking for some people to company them to do something, like enjoying lunch together, traveling, shopping and so on. If I want to define the people who will company me to have lunch, should I call them Lunch partner or Meal pal? BTW, It is said that Mealpal is also a name of a food app. Also, how do I define other similar relationship with others? Thank you very much for reading and answers!

Both sound fine to me!
A few thoughts:
"Pal" is not a widely known word among those learning English. That being said, "meal pal" does sound fun and lighthearted, whereas "lunch partner" sounds a bit more formal (and is it only lunch you would meet people for? What about dinner?). Lunch pal also sounds good. "Buddy" is another option: lunch buddy, meal buddy, etc.
