Look around the world I think the countries which are most similar to China are south Korea and Japan, they culturally have the common ground with China. For example,Sumo was popular in Song dynasty. In Tang dynasty,Korea and Japan sent a lot of students even officials to the capital ChangAn and other big cities to learn the advanced technologies and cultural. There was a ture story that some monks from Japan after living in China for a long time they had to go back home, but they had enjoyed the great tea,so they took some back and made them into powder so they could drink it for a long time. Then matcha was invented.Nowadays, when Chinese people have a trip in Japan you can recognize a lot of charctors just like British people travel in French. But unfortunately, today if you want to see the Tang dynasty style buildings the best destination is Japan, and if you want to see the Song dynasty style buildings the best destination is south Korea. We have a lot to do on protecting the heritages.

Looking around the world, I think the countries which are most similar to China are south Korea and Japan, they culturally have a common ground with China. For example, Sumo was popular in Song’s dynasty. In Tang’s dynasty, Korea and Japan sent a lot of students and even officials to the capital ChangAn and other big cities to learn about advanced technologies and culture. There was a true story that some monks from Japan, after living in China for a long time, had to go back home but they had enjoyed the great tea so much that they took some back to Japan and turned it into a powder so they could drink it for a while. Then matcha was invented. Nowadays, when Chinese people have a trip in Japan it is just like British people traveling in France. But unfortunately, if you want to see the Tang’s dynasty style buildings today, the best way to do it is to travel to Japan, and if you want to see the Song’s dynasty style buildings you’ll need to travel to South Korea. We have a lot to do to protect our heritage.
