I'm living in Angiang province, a small province in the South of Vietnam. As you know, Vietnam is a tropical country (nation is used when speaking of the people, usually). The weather is usually hot, especially in the larger cities. Ho Chi Minh city (aka Saigon) is famous for scorching days, of course beside that there are many other interesting things. Returning to talking about my hometown, Angiang is also hot in some places. It's small and there is no beach, but has many mountains. It's neither too modern, crowded nor deserted place. I feel this place is a good place to live. Everything is enough for a basic life. The most important thing is that the nature/environment is still alright :) many trees, few buildings and factories. We have rivers, green mountains, schools, hospitals, markets and super markets. The traffic is also good, no traffic jams. The food is delicious and healthy with many vegetables and fruits. People is almost kind. Strangers are easy to find help for direction, food, drinking water and clothes. The culture also has many typical things with several minority cultural groups. Each group has traditional festivals and clothes.
