I think that discipline a child is not as easy as It seems. It requires patience and child behaviour understanding. Parents should understand that children cannot control their emotions and they need to know what they are feeling and why.
So, an appropiate strategy could be Talk with the child and with a firm voice explain what emotion he or she is experiencing and let them know that we are there for supporting them and help them to regulate that emotion.
