A ordinary teacher teaches his students, but a good teacher influences the students. Good teaching is not about spoon-feeding the students knowledge, but about inspiring the students to create and think deeper. This topic reminds me of a movie character, whom I think is a example of being a good teacher. The movie is <Heidi>, one of my favourite movies, very heart-healing. In the movie, when the Grandma heard the negative feedbacks of little Heidi from the teacher, she didn't believe in that and joined the teacher to blame her, but tried to understand the reason why she didn't want to study and told her bedtime stories, the grandma stopped telling bedtime stories after several days because she wanted to inspire little Heidi to read herself, and finally it was proven that Heidi was smart and a fast learner. The grandma was a good teacher because she could arouse the interest of learning and helped on building the capability of learning.
