School was canceled today because of the typhoon, and my part-time job was also canceled, but I just got a message on LINE asking if I could switch shifts, so I'm going to head over now. It's sunny now, so I don't think the typhoon will have much of an impact.

School was canceled today because of the typhoon, and my part-time job was also canceled, but I just got a message on LINE asking if I could switch shifts, so I'm going to head over now. It's sunny now, so I don't think the typhoon *had* much of an impact.
One nuance: "the typhoon will have much of an impact" uses future, but if the typhoon has already passed (and now it's sunny), past tense fits the meaning: "...so I don't think the typhoon had much of an impact."
