Hey Huang.
“Better than” means improving on something. It means you are getting better/ more good/knowing more about something. For example, let’s say you are learning English, we can say “You are now better than when you started”. Meaning you know more English now.
Or
“Better than” can mean you know something or are good at something more than someone else. For example, “Huang is better than Mihlali in English”. Meaning you know more English than me.
