It’s sunny today. Everything is fine at school. By the way, I learned this tongue twister from Mr. Brain. It was like, Lesser leather never weathered wetter weather better. I must admit, it initially stumped me, especially by its grammar. However, I eventually managed to figure out its meaning. It signifies that imitation leather is more resilient against wet weather compared to genuine leather which will probably get damaged in the same condition. Little did I know about such traits of leather until I stumbling upon this one. All readings count, they all contribute to our knowledge.

I am not sure your interpretation of the meaning is correct.
One thing it could mean is that lesser leather is now more resilient than before.
The other thing is that it is not as good as real leather. It never weathers wetter weather better (than real leather).
Can you say it? I hadn’t heard this one before.

I count three possible meanings: 1. Inferior leather is always worse against water. 2. The inferior leather these days is better against water than in the past. 3. Wow! That's some amazing inferior leather! I've never seen it hold up so well against water!
