Tutor de la comunidadHello everyone, this is Sherry~
Let’s learn how to istinguish between “两”(liǎng) and “二” (èr) today😊.
In Chinese, 二 (èr) and 两 (liǎng) are two words for "two", but each is used in different situations. Remember the rule: 二 (èr) is for numbers, while 两 (liǎng) is for Measure Words.
二(èr) is used generally in numbers, for example, counting from one to ten, giving out a phone number, indicate the order and so on. But remember that 二 (èr) is not used to say there are "two" of something, and does not generally occur with measure words by itself ( except some special situations).
