Tutor de la comunidad🌟 DAY 18/30: The 'SELF' Hindi Challenge 🌟
नमस्ते (Namaste)! 🙏
Now that we have learned how to say what we want (Chahiye), let's look at a powerful word that helps you ask questions, explore new places, and find your way around while traveling.
Today’s Word: कहाँ (Kahan)
Meaning: Where
How to use it: "स्टेशन कहाँ है?"
(Station kahan hai?)
"Where is the station?"
💡 TEACHER'S TIP: This is the ultimate survival word for travelers! You can put almost any English noun at the beginning of the sentence, add कहाँ है?, and native speakers will understand exactly what you are looking for.
Try these out:
"Hotel कहाँ है?"
(Hotel kahan hai?) = Where is the hotel?
"Washroom कहाँ है?"
(Washroom kahan hai?) = Where is the washroom?
📝 YOUR CHALLENGE: Let's practice navigation! Pick a destination you would look for if you visited India (like Taj Mahal, Market, Airport, or Metro station) and drop a question in the comments using कहाँ है?.
I will reply to your comment and guide your pronunciation! 👇
