Good evening, everyone!
What's the difference between "get something out" and "take something off"? These two sentences came up to me:
1. He took off his clothes.
2. I've got something in my eye and I cannot get it out.

Hi! Take something off can be used for when you are removing a type of garment/clothing.
get something out also means to remove but think of it as removing something from inside of something else, in this case an eye
