Please translate "Saludos un abrazo" (Mexico). Greetings best wishes? Or, Greetings a hug? Why is there not a "y" in that phrase?

Hi Marie! I hope you're doing fine 😊 I'm sharing my suggestions with you.
"Saludos un abrazo" translates to "Greetings, a hug" in English. It is a way of sending warm regards or best wishes, and the "un abrazo" part conveys the sentiment of sending a hug. In Spanish, it's common to omit the conjunction "y" (and) in short phrases, especially in informal contexts. The phrase is concise and flows well without the need for an additional "y" in this case.
Hope the information has been helpful to you. If you have any further questions or need additional information, don't hesitate to contact me. Keep up the good work with your Spanish practice! 😃

it should be either "saludos, un abrazo", or as you mentioned "saludos y un abrazo", now in the phrase "saludos, un abrazo," "y" is omitted for stylistic reasons. It's a common practice to skip conjunctions in informal or brief expressions to maintain a more concise and flowing language. Including "y" could make the phrase feel more formal or structured than the casual and friendly tone.

No te preocupes, si tú quieres puedes ponerle la "y" . Hasta se oye mejor! Saludos y un abrazo Marie
