Today, I would like to talk about one of my friends. We met in high school, and since we happened to live very close to each other, we quickly became friends. We also joined the same club, and because we often went home together, we talked a lot and grew even closer.
However, when I was in my second year of high school, things changed for me. I faced some problems, including troubles with relationships and issues at home, and I started to feel that I might not be able to continue the club activities. I’m the type of person who finds it difficult to talk about my problems, so I couldn’t really open up to my friend. But for her, the fact that I didn’t share my struggles made her feel sad. Because of that, we slowly began to grow apart, and we even stopped going home together. Until we graduated, our relationship stayed a bit awkward.
But after we entered university, she reached out and invited me to go out for a meal together. We talked about many things, and we were able to reconnect and feel close again. And today, since we both turned twenty, we’re finally going out for drinks together. I feel a little nervous, but I’m excited as well.
Thank you for reading.
