▪ The word demography has been derived from the Latin word 'demos' meaning people; and grapho meaning to draw, to describe, to discuss. Hence it is to say that demography is the description of people or the study of the human population.
✅ Can I write the sentence above like this?
=> The word demography has been derived from the Latin word 'demos' meaning people; and grapho meaning to draw, to describe, to discuss; more precisely demography is the description of people or the study of the human population.

Hi Fargana, the word “demography” doesn’t come from Latin but from Greek. The rest of your reasoning is correct tho :) Demos= “the people” + graphy It’s basically the study of statistics that contribute to the composition of a particular population.
