It's an endorsement. Michael Jordan still makes a lot of money from endorsement deals even though it's been a long time since he last played.

The English term for "permuta" in the context of an artist or celebrity promoting a brand in exchange for products or services is "barter" or "in-kind sponsorship".
Here’s an example using "barter":
* "The celebrity agreed to promote the new skincare line on her social media in exchange for a year’s supply of the products as part of a barter deal."
Here’s an example using "in-kind sponsorship":
* "The musician received free instruments from the company as part of an in-kind sponsorship, where he mentioned the brand in his concert tours and social media posts."
Both terms convey the idea of exchanging promotion for goods or services without involving cash.

In English, we call it "product placement." It's when artists or celebrities show or mention a brand in exchange for getting their products or services for free. For example, if a famous singer talks about how much they love a certain brand of sneakers in their music video, that's product placement. It's like getting a <a href="https://spiralsips.com/blog/how-much-are-cake-pops-at-starbucks/>birthday cake pop</a> from Starbucks just because you told everyone how yummy it is!
