As you can see in the attached picture. “Pick, peck, pock” has been mentioned several times in the story.
It seems to me that “pick peck pock” is the sound effects of the cracking of the egg.

It is the sound of the little chick's beak pecking at the egg to break the shell. What a bird does with it's beak, to pick up food, etc., is called pecking.
