[What are my Top 3 Korean chips?] I love eating chips. There, I said it. Though
they are unhealthy, I still love them like Romeo loves Juliet…(Only death can
separate us…No pun intended.) Anyway, my point is that there are many delicious
Korean chips out there, and as a fan of junk food, I wanna talk about my top 3
Korean chips. 3. Haitai Honey Butter Chips (허니버터칩) Many of you’ve probably heard
about this product. As you can guess from its name, Haitai Honey Butter Chips
taste like barbeque-flavored chips glazed by honey. (Simply speaking, it's a
honey barbeque flavor.) For American folks, imagine the flavor of Fritos Honey
BBQ Flavored Corn Chips. In my opinion, they have similar flavors. Moving on,
its popularity peaked way back around 2015 and 2016. Back then, Koreans went
crazy over this new flavor they had never tasted before. For me, I like how it
has both sweet and savory flavors. It’s like drinking mint-chocolate milk and
chocolate milk at the same time. 2. Orion Chicken Pop (치킨팝) As you can see from a
photo, Orion Chicken Pop is a popcorn-sized snack that has a yangnyeom chicken
flavor. When you eat this one, you don’t use your hand; you swallow them. And
that is nice when you are on a computer. 1. Orion Oh! Gamja Yangnyeom BBQ Sauce
Flavor (오! 감자 양념바베큐소스맛) Okay, here we are now! I equally love my top 3 chips,
but some chips are more equal than others, right? And I think this one is the
“most equal” one. This hollow potato-fry-looking chip is mainly my favorite,
because of the dipping sauce that comes with it. The caveat is that you might
wanna stay away from the original one that doesn’t have a dipping sauce. The
plain one tastes like fries without ketchup...I mean, who eats that? So, these
are my top 3 Korean chips. If you guys have ever tried these before, let me know
whether you liked them or not. And please let me know if you know any chips from
your countries that taste similar to any of these. :)
