Hi everyone,
Want to sound polite in Korean? Just add “요 [yo]” at the end of your sentence! ✨
Here’s how it changes the tone 👇
For example:
• “고마워요” → “Thanks (polite).”
• “이거 좋아요” → “I like this.”
• “사과가 있어요” → “There is an apple.”
Adding “요” makes your sentence sound polite and respectful — perfect when talking to someone older, you’re not close with, or in a formal setting 💫
Casual speech is great for friends or people your age 🌿
How do you say “There isn’t a word” in Korean politely?
