Could you check my text please? Skiing dangerously. Today fot the first time during our life in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk my girlfriend and I went for skiing. My girlfriend was learning snowboarding with an instructor. Meanwhile, I was remembering my skiing skills, which I got 10 years ago, spending a week in an another skiing resort. In the beginning it was very exciting even though I started skiing slowly. I easily went down through a long user-friendly trail and enjoyed that. Doing that a couple of times I got some confidence and increased my speed. As a result, I fell once and hurt my elbow and the right knee. But it didn’t teach me any lesson and I went to a more difficult trail which was colored blue on the map. That trail was long and had both the easier parts and more difficult. And going through some difficult part, I almost collided with an another skier, but could avoid her. Avoiding her had some consequences, I fell again and broke one ski. That was my last trail for that day. Analysing the situation, I decided that I rode too fast, because of the boredom of skiing slowly and desire of an adrenalin rush. But fast skiing resulted in the injuries (luckily not serious, just bruises) and the damage to the rented property, the repair of which I fully compensated. Eventually it’s very easy to get carried away in skiing and forget controling the speed. I definitely need to be more cautious with that the next time. These mistakes could cause much more serious problems, most of all the health problems, so this time I was really lucky. Thanks!
