My pet peeves are being told what to do and being misunderstood.
No changes needed! The only very minor point I can make is perhaps using the word “feeling” instead of “being” when misunderstood. It is difficult to know if you are being understood both qualitatively and quantitatively. However, if others have expressed that they do not understand you or if what you are saying is LITERALLY being misunderstood by others, using the word “being” here is fine. In all other instances I would use the word “feel.” I hope that helps and makes sense! Please let me know if it doesn’t make sense!

^^Regarding the comment above, this is only referring to that one phrase outside of this context. I would imagine others are literally not understanding what you say if you are referring to “pet peeves!”
