I think the first step is finding the type of materials that you will find fun to use, like watching TV shows or movies in that language, just to get familiar with it. Progress isn't always linear and you will continuously find new methods that work along the way so just make it is as fun as possible 😊

The first step and the most obvious one is to learn the alphabet and how to read. After you have mastered that, you can move on straight to some easy grammar topics, such as "the verb to be" and "present tense". While learning grammar, you should also learn basic vocabulary. If you are consistent and study your target language every day at least for 10 min, you will see great results afterwards! Good luck!

This first step in my opinion would be to decide on the language you wish to learn. There may be many factors involved in your decision. For instance you may wish to learn this specific language for travel, job opportunities or just because the language is exciting for you. If you have no real connection to the language I believe you will easily slack off studying and the whole process will be a waste of time! So firstly understand the “why” the rest will follow!! Good luck!!

Hi Cassandra, I would say being motivated, motivation is the key to success. Also, find a teacher that gives you variety and exposes you to different areas so you can find your weaknesses and improve.😊
