I don’t play any musical instruments, but I desire to learn how to play the piano 🎹
When I was a child I took a few lessons but that time didn’t like the result or the teacher’s approach, who knows 🤷♀️ anyway, I’ve always loved the sound of this instrument and it’s always touched me ❤️
After all, now I’m saving up for electro piano 😊 and hope my dream’ll come true one sunny day 😁

"I desire to learn..." might be grammatically correct, but it sounds a bit unusual to me. I think maybe because we usually use desire with objects more than verbs, example: "I desire some chocolate."
Very good!! I'm sure your dream will come true. I bought an electric piano about 3 years ago and it's possible the best thing I've ever bought, I still play it every day!
