Having fun with my students 🖍📒🙆🏼‍♀️🎧🏆 #moreфон2020 🌊 I’ve come to realise that if I’m not enjoying the lesson, my student is probably not enjoying it either 🤷🏼‍♀️ I do all kinds of things with my students: we draw, we do crafts, we sing, we dance, we play musical instruments 🎶 The kids always motivate me to step out of my comfort zone and try new things 🤪 Sometimes my English lessons look more like math lessons or music lessons. I’ve noticed that when my students are fully engaged, they start using English to interact with me. Kids don’t really need grammar books, they can learn through play. I’ve had 1,5-2 hour lessons with my youngest students, and believe me, they don’t get tired. Sometimes I get tired by the end of the lesson 🤦🏽‍♀️, but they don’t. And yes, we speak English all the time, they rarely ask for translation. Although I don’t use games with adults that much, I believe that anyone can learn English (or any other language) the fun way 😜 Language learning should bring you joy ☺️ Do you agree?
