Is it true that in the UK pants mean underwear and instead of this you use word trousers? Also do you call sweatpants sweat trousers or how?
For example if I were in the UK and I said somebody ‘I like white and green pants’
Would they think I’m talking about underpants or about trousers?

'Pants' is generally understood to mean underwear (male or female). We don't say 'sweat trousers'. 'Sweatpants' is used and understood but we also call those 'joggers', 'jogging bottoms' or 'tracksuit bottoms'.

Yes, generally, the word 'pants' in the UK means women's undergarments. However, sweatpants are understood as ''sweat trousers'' so you can call them sweatpants in the UK.

Yes, in the UK, the word "pants" usually refers to underwear, while the word "trousers" is used for the pants worn outside.
