Japan has a culture that listen scary stories in summer. Scary stories work for cooling down, because you will feel a tremor of dread, when you listen such stories. So, horror shows are often shown on TV in summer.
I especially like horror TV progrms that somebody tells stories without scary videos. Audiences only listen the story. So, you image the scariest sceans for you. It satisfies audiences.
I'm looking forward to enjoy many horror progrms during this season.

Wow! I had never thought of emotions like fear as cooling us down. I suppose it makes sense, since our face turns red with anger or embarassment, so we feel hot, and other emotions would make us cool down. In English-speaking culture it's not thought of that way, even though we might use "cool down" and "calm down" together. That is so interesting!
