My husband and I went sightseeing in Iwate and Miyagi prefectures from November 4 to November 7. It was a three-night, four-day trip. I woke up at 3:45 in the morning and left home at 4:30. The flight was to Hanamaki at 7:00 a.m., but I was worried that the prefectural Nagoya Airport parking lot in Komaki City would be full and we would not be able to park, so I left early. I arrived at the airport at 5:30 a.m. and was relieved to find that I could park. I arrived at Hanamaki Airport in Iwate Prefecture at 8:30 am. The temperature was six degrees Celsius and cold. I put on a thick jumper. First, we drove for about two hours on the highway in a rental car to the Nikka Whiskey Miyagikyo Distillery. The purpose of this visit was for my husband to taste freshly made whisky. He tasted three different whiskies and looked satisfied. I drank only one glass of apple juice and looked dissatisfied. The autumn leaves were so beautiful at the factory. Then my husband wanted to take a picture of a regular train crossing a bridge, so I drove along a narrow mountain pass to find a good spot to take the picture. The train comes only once an hour. I drove and waited for about 30 minutes.
