The Japanese traditional clothe for women is called a "kimono". It’s a beautiful long dress made of silk. We have various types of kimono in terms of colors and designs. We use a belt called an "obi" while wearing our "kimono". An obi also has a lot of colors / is also a very colorful garment, featuring many designs and which can be tied in many different ways. The kind of kimono you should wear depends on the type of event you wish to attend. Even though people don’t usually wear it in everyday life, they still wear it on special occasions like traditional events. When you come to Japan, you should try it!
