When doing warm-ups Do we turn our head around or spin?
I don’t know if this is what you are referring to, but for warm-ups, I often hear the instructors say that we’re going to do “head rolls”.
Head rolls warm up the neck. This term refers to moving the head in a circular motion, looking up to the ceiling, then moving the right ear toward the right shoulder, then the chin toward the chest, then the left ear to the left shoulder, and then repeating the whole process.
I hope that’s somewhat helpful.

Great job! Beautiful sentences. You could leave them all the way you have them and they are perfectly understandable and acceptable, but here are a few notes on variations I might use in daily speech, in case that’s helpful:
I turned my head to see who was calling out to me from behind.
- I looked behind me to see who was calling for me/ calling my name.
- I turned around and looked behind me to see who was calling my name/ calling for me.
I turned around and walked towards the door.Because I heard someone knock.
- I turned around and walked toward/towards the door, because I heard someone knocking/it sounded like someone was knocking.
what are you going to do first?
well, for a start, I am gonna do head-rolls.
- Just remember this only makes sense if the person understands it is in the context of exercise. :)
Those are just some notes if you want them, but your sentences are great.
