Do you prefer to work for yourself or for other companies?
In my view, working for other companies is more appealing to me. I feel this way for two main reasons.
First of all, you are free to move on or advance your career. When you work for someone else, you always have the option to continue the current position or abandon it and start a new job. Nonetheless, if you have your own business, quitting or changing means a failure and will be accompanied by huge losses.
In addition, you can get paid time off if you are an employee. Working for yourself virtually means you always have something to work on. However, this pressure that the work never ends is not for you as an employee. At the end of the day, you can get home and enjoy the rest of the day. Also, you have two-day weekends off from work, and above all, many companies offer paid time off, which you can leave the work for a short time and still receive your salary.
