When can the verb صار، يصير meaning "to become" be used as just "to be"? This quote I found says "و لو صرت وحيدا" to mean "even if you are alone" but I don't understand why they used صار in this way

The quote means “even if you become alone” not “even if you are alone”

The verb “صار،يصير”, means the action of changing from one situation to another or from one state to another.
