Well. I want to be thankful of having a great neighbor who lived in my downstairs floor. The reason why I want to be thankful is that they’ve been taken care of me like their daughter sometimes. They’re so generous and warm-hearted. There was a period they gave me one boiled egg in the morning everyday because they were worried of that I did not have time to cook. They always invite me to have dinner together when they cook some delicious dishes. As a return, I also buy and share some stuff with them. So, we built a quite strong connection. The funny thing is that our relations was not that good at the beginning. Because when I first moved to the current apartment, I did not know the sound proof between floors was not good. So They came to me and said I made some noises which could not let them sleep. Basically it was the noises when I vacuumed the floor. So, I apologized and promised would not clean after 9pm moving forwards. Afterwards, the old woman still came to me and asked if I was making some noises, and I got a bit upset, because I was laying on the bed while she heard it. It turned out the noise coming from the next door of me. One time, she came to me again, and said she could not sleep because the water drooping sound on their air conditioner annoyed her. Then she asked me to fix the leaking problem of my air condition, so I called an repairman and fixed it. Because she was talking loudly and quickly, each time when she came to me, I felt a bit annoying as well. Besides, her attitude was more like putting an order on me, instead of politely request. So, I tried to avoid her every time when I met her in the building. Things changed one day. I was taking out some stuff to throw away, and she saw me and stopped me, said that she wanted to take a look if there was anything she could use. I thought it was great, because if she could reuse them, that would reduce the waste. She took some stuff then, and afterwards, she started to cook me food as payback.
