WEIRD CAFES- English Conversation Topic One of my favourite conversations topics or material is an Engoo Daily News Material titled "Weird Cafes from around the world". The article features some interesting real-life cafes which are always a treat to discuss with my students. As all Engoo material is, my students have a chance to learn new vocabulary, use those they already know in a whole different context and ofcourse enjoy the discussion exercise. Usually, I find myself discussing some of the most weird cafes my students have been and those I have been to from my country. As interesting as all my lessons with this article have been, my most exciting moment was hearing from how they had actually visited a 'Cat cafe'. They were happy to share how what we had originally laughed and enjoyed talking about became a reality. For me the words I could use are "the lesson came alive".
