I really want to speak fluent English with good pronunciation. I know the best way to improve it is to practice with native speakers or who can speak good English. But I really have less opportunity to do so.
So, anyone has any good suggestions for me to improve my oral English ? How to be more fluent is my largest problem.
Well. It can be viewed in multiple ways. For me, it is related to "natural ways" of acquiring a language.
When I was 17 I had studied English for 4 years and I knew a lot of words. I knew much "about" the language. However, my English was not close to fluent. Lack of fluence and bad pronunciation just made my English "acceptable". I didn't know much about how to speak the language.
Today, I can say that has changed. It didn't happen overnight, though. I realized that once you get to an intermediate or advanced level, study is just complementary. You have to put the language in practice.
Once you have gone through the basic level, the best you can do is to get natural exposure of the language. Listen to native podcasts in English language. Watch English-Spoken TV Shows. Speak with natives (if you have the opportunity). Read newspapers in English. And you will see your fluency increase day by day.
