Pronunciation - 30 seconds recording
Grown - ups

Can someone tell me:
1.- which words are mispronounced.
2.- which part of the recording sounds more weird
3.- Any advice if it is posible

"Whenever I encountered  (ɪnˈkaʊn.t̬ɚ)  a grown-up who seemed to me at all enlightened, I would experiment on him with my drawing Number One, which I have always kept.I wanted to see if he really understood anything. But he would always answer, “That’s a hat.” Then I wouldn’t talk about boa (ˈboʊ.ə) constrictors or (jungles or stars. I would put myself on his level and talk about bridge and golf and politics and neckties. And my grown-up was glad to know such a reasonable person"

You have a very pleasant voice.
Some of the words were not clearly enunciated (each syllable was not pronounced clearly), so I recorded my voice and also showed you how to pronounce words with several syllables (see below):

When / ever    I    en / coun / tered    a grown-up who seemed to me at all

en / ligh / tened,    I would     ex / per / i /ment   on him with my draw / ing Num / ber One, which I have always kept.

I    wan / ted    to see if he    rea /lly     un / der /stood   any /thing.

Then I wouldn’t talk about boa (BOW A) con / stric / tors or jungles (J noy Y pronunciation of jungles) or stars.

I would put myself on his level and talk about bridge / and golf / and politics / and neckties (or bridge, golf, politics and neckties).

And my grown-up was glad to know such a      rea / son / able   person"<o:p></o:p>

My best advice is to speak slowly and pronounce each syllable clearly.

Then, after you are more confident that you are pronouncing each syllable, you can begin to speak a little quicker (and it will be clearer).

Yes, the "d" is pronounced in that sentence.

I agree with everything Richard wrote.

Here are a couple specific things I noticed:

I couldn't hear the d in encountered

In jungles the j was pronounced like a y

The vowel in "and" was off, it should be the same as the vowel in that and hat.

Spangola, muchas gracias!

Tus grabaciones me sirven mucho, especialmente porque me cuesta mucho darme cuenta por mi misma que es lo que estoy haciendo mal, por eso este tipo de comentarios me ayudan un montón.

Muchas gracias  de nuevo, espero estés bien.
