The issue is that I'm in Canada and we don't have access to US Netflix - unless maybe some people find a way around the location detection? I've heard people talk about that but I don't know how to do it. The Canadian Netflix doesn't stream the same shows and they don't have "La Reina del Sur", unfortunately! I don't even have a Netflix account because the show choices in Canada are not that great.

For those who do not have a subscription to Netflix, do you know about rabb.it?  This site allows people to watch movies or shows together.  It works with YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and other sites.  Only one person needs a subscription if the group wants to watch a movie together.

I have thought it might be fun to have a group using rabb.it so Spanish learners could watch Spanish movies or telenovelas together, with some of the more advanced members able to explain things to the others.  Rabb.it allows the show to be paused and discussed.
