Is correct to say: Art is you or Art are you?
Is this correct? Art is you being free from all of the worlds heaviness. Art are you being free from all of the worlds heaviness

I wouldn't agree with that sentence anyway. Come on, sometimes you can make art being pressured by the world, especially when you do art as a job.

It's "Art is you...", definitely, because "art" is the subject expressed by a noun in a singular form, hence "is".

If you want to define art, I would say: "Art is being free..." or "Art means being free..." At any rate, the subject of your sentence is "art" (=it), so the first one of your sentences is better.
