Hello everyone, what are the differences between Cebuano and Tagalog (filiphino)?

Tagalog is part of the northern languages. It is the language of the Tagalog people (Manila, Zambales, Bulacan, Bataan, Marinduque, etc). The Manila dialect/variation of Tagalog is also the basis for the national language, Filipino, similar to the way the Beijing dialect is the basis for Standard Mandarin while the Madrid dialect is the basis for standard Spanish.
Cebuano, often synonymous with Bisaya, is part of the Visayan languages and is spoken primarily in Central Visayas (Cebu, Bohol, Negros) and most parts of Mindanao.
Both are called "dialects" in the Philippines even though they are not mutually intelligible to speakers who only speak one of the two said languages.
