I always thought that learning a second language would be challenging. Even in school when I had Spanish classes I always felt defeated if I didn't understand the topic right away. I'm not sure with what frame of mind I decided to continue Spanish on my own or to start self-studying Japanese. I know my goal for each language but the longer it takes the less motivated I am. Please help me.
What are some practical ways to improve in a new language?
What are effective practice methods?
I know that everyone doesn't learn or understand things in the same manner so please recommend as many techniques as you can thing of.Thank you.
@Gergely
I'm learning it for fun and I want to travel. My goal, uhmmm I guess its to communicate with the natives of the respective language in their language. I do watch series in the language.
