Lessons using iphone
Does anyone here take regular lessons from their phone or would it be best to use a laptop/tablet. Im currently travelling so the idea of using my phone for lessons while on the road is a lot more appealing . Thoughts appreciated from those who do or have tried.

Sometimes I take lessons with my smartphone if I can't use my computer for some reason. When the teacher writes corrections in Skype, they pop up and I can see them when I talk. I think it's ok for conversational classes but not sufficient for grammar classes. So, it depends on your needs if it's ok to take classes with the phone.

I think all depend of your level. Maybe if you are a beginner can be hard open two things same time. For example write on skype and reading a text or listen an audio, doing exercises and write. Now if you are not a beginner and you will practice conversation or your accent will be ok, you will have the skype or other app open.

One of my partners doesn't have a computer, only her iPhone. Our meeting are limited in some aspects. For example, writing is not as easy as it is in a computer. But she writes her corrections after our meeting. We cannot share videos either, but I thing is because low bandwith more than the fact of being use a smartphone. But keeping in mind those limitations, our meetings go well.

There are a number of Apps available on Apple store such as VOA and 6 minutes for learning English. I believe the similar apps must be available as well by which we can listen to the audios with its transcripts. Since there are such lucrative apps available on the E-stores, using smartphones would be more convenient in my view and this is right what I currently do.
