Tips when you are out of cash. I was twice or more times in a situation when I payed by card in a cafe and didn't have cash for tips. Fortunately it was my favourite cafe in our town where I come frequently for a glass of beer or wine and have opportunity to give tips any other time. But nevertheless I wonder what should you do if you want to give tips, but have no cash at all with you. Thank you.

Try giving the waiter or waitress some 'real' tips. These are handy ones that I dispense from time to time:

Buy low, sell high. Don't sunbathe. Brush your teeth regularly. Don't play in the traffic. Watch your language in airports. Buy the correct size shoes. Don't go parachuting unless you're a professional. Don't argue with your mother-in-law. Don't give your kids weird names. Don't eat broccoli.

I think you are being too kind. If you are out of money, then it is too bad for them. I dont sympathise with waiting staff. They get a good enough pay for easy enough work. I would rather tip a shop assistant, and have. They were astonished, but they had been friendly to me and I thought "who says you should tip only waiters and taxi drivers?". Factory workers are never tipped. They do far harder work for much less pay.

I was  have been at least twice or more times in a situation when I payed paid  by card in a cafe and didn't have any cash for a tips. Fortunately, it was is my favourite cafe in our my town, where I come go frequently for a glass of beer or wine and I have the opportunity to give a tips any other another time. But, nevertheless, I wonder what you should you do if you want to give a tips, but have no cash, at all, with you. Thank you.
