I found a very strange structure in my English textbook: So ... as. I went Google to search some examples of this structure but there was nothing.
All I could find was some examples of "SO AS TO". I am very confused. If you know the answer, could you please share with me?
Thank you.
Hi Peter,
I met this structure in the part of Correlative Conjunctions. Besides the structure SO .. AS, our textbook shows other ones (also in this type of conjunction): BOTH... AND, EITHER... OR, NEITHER ... NOR, NOT ONLY .... BUT ALSO.
Could you type out the original sentence from the textbook?
Seeing it might help me give you a clearer answer.
