There are people who are easier to remember than others for the very simple reason that they are distinct. They have unique characteristics that make them memorable, it can be a physical characteristic or a personality trait. When I hear the name Marilyn Monroe, I immediately think about the infamous white dress and a mole on her face because I can’t remember any other celebrities with moles. I also remember someone because of their voice, I have a friend whose laugh is so unique that when I think about her, even when she is not around, I can vividly hear her laughing.

    There are people whom we associate with certain events in our life. I have met so many runners in a race, but I only remember those I spoke with or people who performed really well and those who performed pretty badly. I can also remember people who are extremely kind or extremely arrogant. Usually those in the middle, I can’t remember them.
